Powers:

Cavernous Beak- When Abbissal opens her great beak, her prey sees row after row of massive, thick teeth which are designed to hold and crush. They lack cutting ability in general, but if enough weight is behind even the dullest blade, it will cut through just about anything. Retaining the strongest bite-force on record, Abbissal's jaws along make her a kaiju to be feared, but factor in her great speed, weight and nasty habit of dropping down from above, they become little more then a death sentence for anything that raises either her wrath or hunger. Her beak also has two modes, the first when at rest the jagged tooth like struts of her beak are good for shearing through flesh, causing brutal lacerations and wounds. The second is when she tenses the muscles in his gums to extend her true teeth, which are designed for grabbing onto prey or outright crushing them, built like demonic rail-road spikes.

Restricted Girth- The avian's great weight is rivaled by few beings, be they a construct or a living wall of flesh. So great is her tonnage that when she begins to swim through the water it forms a great wave. At higher speeds she is unstomable, no force known is able to stand in Abbissal's path once she has set out to ram and/or devour something. Even a half-hearted flip of one of her wings can be proved deadly if a smaller monster does not get out of the way in time.

Limited Flight- Abbissal has a ton of power locked up in her fin like wings and tied to her huge chest. All of this muscle is used for pulling the massive creature through the water, at a fairly good pace that lets her overtake other water locked kaiju with shocking ease. But on top of her speed she has a secret weapon. Abbissal can angle herself upwards and break through the surface of the water in what looks like a breach, however with a few thunderous flaps of her wings she rises up out of the water and begins to circle overhead. Due to her massive Weight Abbissal is unable to keep in the air for too long, but it's more then enough time to reach quite a height and aim herself at her prey. The massive avian's favorite tactic is to simple close her wings and fall right out of the sky, jaws agape as she plummets towards her prey. If the impact does not outright kill the opposing monster then the titanic force of her shutting jaws will.

Armored Scales- The feather shaped scales on Abbissal's body all lay flat together, interlocking at the edges to form a solid sheet of armor when struck, only to easily bend and flex like separate parts afterwards. Acting like a heavy chain-mail this kaiju's body has been known to shatter fangs and turn the edges of other monsters, while seemingly unaffected for all the trouble her attackers go through.

Weakness:

Food First- Abbissal thinks largely with her stomach, while she is able to understand such things as 'friend' and 'foe' at times her hunger overrides any ties she might have, causing the kaiju to lash out at an ally in an attempt to devour them.

Limited Movement- This kaiju can fly, but not for very long, as Abbissal's top fight time is little over five minuets, slightly longer if she has a hurricane to help keep her up. In any case once her wings tire she will have to set down somewhere no matter where she might be and depending on what she was soaring over at the time, this can become a problem. If forced to land on the ground, Abbissal will be have to use her wings much like the fins of a sea turtle and drag herself about. This is extremely slow and awkward, in this state she is unable to fight beyond a few half-hearted snaps, at least until she returns to the water.

Finisher:
Supper Time- Abbissal will first aim for the limbs of her prey, snapping and twisting them off and letting the target bleed to death as she enjoys gulping down the masses of flesh and bone. She will then settle in to finish off the rest of the body, which doesn't often take too long.

Personality: While most predatory animals are ruled by their hunger, Abbissal is only guided by it. She is quite intelligent and able to make swift judgement calls, though depending on how empty her stomach is, they can be tilted somewhat against the favor of her friends. She views just about anything above a certain size to be prey, anything too small is considered not worth the effort to swallow. However this does not mean she ignores small kaiju or other beings all together, once she does not consider them a meal, they can be easily be reassigned as 'pets' or 'play things'. A trait she shares with fellow avian kaiju Loonesi is that she enjoys watching humans, almost akin to how humans might watch an ant farm. Abbissal is extremely fond of the coastal city of Maine and violently objects to her little 'farm' being put in harms way.

Description: Abbissal's body is largely flat, sharing a body posture similar to a sea turtle. She is posed horizontal with large web like wings, a short thick, yet surprisingly flexible neck and a massive set of jaws. Starting from the head, this kaiju's beak easily makes up 40 meters of her entire length. This bill is long and bulky, at the tip of the bill is a blunt downward curved hook which slides into a second hook attached to the lower bill. This lets her grab onto prey that might manage to clear her jaws and the hooks give the kaiju a greater control over manipulating her target. The lower hook slides inside of the upper one, creating a rounded tip when the beak is closed, bullet like in shape. Along the sides of her beak are a line of interlocking tooth like edges that are part of the beak itself, they are sharp and jagged, built for hacking and slashing through prey. However Abbissal has true teeth as well, they sit just inside the beak and when at rest they are slightly less then half as long as the beak-tooth which they mirror. These fangs are thick and powerful, more useful for cracking bones and holding prey as the monster thrashes her head back and forth or goes into a death-roll. At first they might seem far too short to be of any use, but Abbissal's muscular gums hide over half of each fully formed fang and when needed they can be pressed forwards, sliding along side their bill counterparts and surpassing them in length. The fangs wedge in next to the jagged bill-teeth when fully extended, to the point that the bill is only a sort of guard to protect the true fangs when they are in use, grabbing and crushing as they should be. Going down her massive beak one comes to Abbissal's head which is thick and powerful, hosting round brown eyes which seem to be perfect for deep water hunting. Keeping her neck and beak up is a heavily muscled neck that feeds out into a pair of hefty shoulders and in turn a huge, bullet shaped body. Abbissal's wings have evolved into a pair of massive fins, sweeping out and dragging the monster through the water at a slow pace or even moving her bulk at shocking speeds when on the hunt. The wing is leathery, built out of one bone strut that runes the length of it with stretched skin traced down to the creature's side and attached all the way down to where her webbed feet should be. Her wings are in the shape of massive triangles, longer then she is they need every square inch to keep the kaiju in motion. near her rear the avian's back legs have almost morphed away, but instead of vanishing all together like those of whales, her back legs have fused with the wing, the toes growing out into the wing to act as extra struts to better strengthen and support her over all weight. This means she is flapping with not only her upper limbs, but her lower ones as well, generating enough force to launch the massive beast into the air, even for a short period of time. At her end is a short pointed tail, it doesn't serve ant real purpose. The kaiju's colors are a sort of dark blue with dappled white stripes along her back and a white underbelly. Her beak is a muted orange in color.

Origin: Abbissal's true origin is unknown. She seems to be related to a species of modern bird called the 'diving petrel' but many would argue that there has not been enough time in the fossil record for just a gigantic change in any member of the species. As of yet there is no sign of genetic tampering done to the monster or any known mutagens found in her DNA found at one of the giant bird's rougher battles. Abbissal's place or reason of birth is unknown, but at the moment dealing with the living beast is more important then understanding how she came to be.
