Designation: Gargoyles
Species: Genetically Evolved Vampire Bats

Size: Between 20 and 35 meters in height, 25 and 40 meters in length . Sporting a wingspan of 40 to 50 meters.

GDF File: These giant bats stalk the nights of North America, they look almost like a cross between a raptor and a bat. Having long legs that end in blunt claws, large pointed ears that can fold back against the skull, scaly skin without any hair, slit like reptile eyes, pointed reptilian face with sharp dagger like fangs and a long tail with flap like webbing tracing it down to the tip. On land they run on two legs like a predatory dinosaur, but they can easily switch to all fours and become very agile on the ground, but loosing a bit of speed. These beasts are considered one of the most dangerous non-kaiju monsters, for their shear numbers alone, but they are far more sinister then might first be realized. Every few months or so, these bats fly out and kidnap people, flapping off into the black of night where they are never seen again. When first tracked, it was found that the bats retreated to an enormous cave in Mexico, not much more then a giant slanted hole in the ground really. But before they could pinpoint the place with GPS, a massive foot seemed to come out of no where, kicking the exploratory mech into the clear blue sky. The last images the GDF got back was the grinning jaws of the huge kaiju carnivore, Terrormaw.

Creation History: When tested, it was found that the bats DNA had strands of reptile and many bits of dinosaur in them. Considering that the link between them and Terrormaw was found, it is speculated that they were normal vampire bats before feeding on the massive tyrannosaur and growing into the beasts they are now. They seem to follow his will, making them the deadly strike force of this ghastly killer and long reaching limbs for which the kaiju can touch and interact with the world around him. Young Gargoyles are used as spies and assassins, sneaking around the human world and using a strange brand of mental powers to manipulate humans or just gather intel on what they may be planning, which the little monsters then relay to Terrormaw or one of the SOT. Fully grown Gargoyles are used as guards or shock-troops, carrying out their lord's orders ruthlessly. While one by itself could be considered a 'lesser kaiju' and easy to deal with, when a group forms the Gargoyles become much more threatening, even to far larger and stronger monsters who normally fear nothing.

Master: Terrormaw
Alrighty, back to my ARverse.

Here's the first of my minion files, smaller monsters that aren't natural and heed the orders of kaiju, humans or whatever.

I'm not through with my prey species list, but these guys sort of go hand in hand so I'm going to be trading off between them.

Anywho, to the stuff you guys want to hear.

I once compared Terrormaw to a Bond villain turned giant monster, but no bond villain is complete without a host of minions to do his bidding and basically screw up whatever life displeases their master.

That's what these guys do, they act as the eyes and ears, as well as hands of Terrormaw, making that beast even more frightening when he can change his plans on the fly without needing to go stomping around to check out what's going on.

Oh and they also act as air support for when some flying or ranged kaiju pisses off Terrormaw, the swarm will pretty much harass and annoy the other monster and trick it to getting in range of the tyrannosaur so he can end the battle with a quick bite and a dropkick.
